A beautiful baby shower is the perfect way to celebrate one of life’s greatest milestones and for family and friends to express their joy at your pregnancy. When a baby is on the way, the parents aren’t the only ones that get excited. Odds are that the future grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins, friends, and other loved ones will also be eager to welcome the newest member of the family. Traditionally baby shower etiquette dictates that the mum to be, their spouse or a family member shouldn’t organise the party, to avoid the perception of asking for gifts. However, this is no longer the case and it is acceptable for close family members to host the shower – although it is still unusual for the mother to be to organise her own celebration.
