Spring has arrived

Spring has officially arrived and we’ve packed this email with countless ways to enjoy the sunnier weather in the run up to the Easter break and beyond!

Take in the views across Eastbourne’s eastern seafront from the 36 metre Sky Club observation wheel from 5 April – 2 May, explore the sights with Eastbourne’s Sightseeing Bus operating daily from 29 March, or hitch a ride on the Dotto mini train, running every day from Sovereign Harbour to Holywell (and back!) from 5 April.

Discover the fragrant Arlington Bluebell Walk from 4 April – 8 May or join a free guided walk along Eastbourne’s promenade on 17 April.

Live music returns to The Bandstand with Ultimate 90s kicking off the season on 19 April, and the Eastbourne Silver Band taking to the stage at 2.30pm on Easter Sunday. The Easter Sunday concert is free to attend with no tickets required, first come first served.

Towner Family Day

Get creative at Towner’s Family Day: Ecoacoustics takeover on 17 & 18 April. Free to attend drop-in sessions will run from 12 – 4pm each day with activities taking place across the whole building, suitable for children aged 5+. Find out more.

Sovereign Centre

The much-loved Fun Pool at the Sovereign Centre will be open 7 days a week from 5 April, with Big Wave Nights bringing big tunes and bigger waves on Friday nights. The Aqua Challege will also return on weekdays during the school holidays!

Eastbourne Miniature Steam Railway

Eastbourne Miniature Steam Railway is back open 7 days a week from 29 March. Travel behind the famous 1/8 scale locomotives, try your hand at mini golf, let off steam in the adventure play park and more. The Easter Eggspress will also be back on 20 April for children to meet the Easter Bunny and receive a sweet treat (while stocks last).

Birling Gap Egg Hunt

Take on the Easter Egg Hunt at Birling Gap from 5 – 21 April with 10 fun-filled activities for the whole family to enjoy. Activity packs can be collected from the Birling Gap Visitor Centre for just £3.50 per trail and include an Easter trail sheet, bunny ears and dairy or vegan and free from chocolate egg.
